The Process for Obtaining a Blue Card



1.  The undocumented alien resident applies for the Blue Card while in the country.

2.   The fee for the Blue Card would be $20,000. This is effectively the penalty for entering the country illegally.

3.   The alien must leave the country physically for a period of days (47) while a background check is completed and other administrative functions performed.

4.   Upon approval for the card and permission to return within six months of that date, the $20,000 is paid.

5.   The Blue Card holder is required to have a full time job.
